Over the coming weekend, House Beautiful will transform the Kitchen of the Year into Bar 30. Working with Rockefeller Center’s own A.J. Maxwell’s Steakhouse, the space will be redecorated with restaurant seating both indoors and outdoors, overlooking the golden Prometheus fountain. Open 11am – 11pm and serving drinks, pizzas, salads and other summer favorites, Bar 30 will bring the excitement, atmosphere and glamour of New York City and Kitchen of the Year to visitors even after this week’s events conclude.
Once Bar 30 closes its doors in late summer, the KraftMaid cabinetry from Kitchen of the Year will find new life in a deserving family’s home through a donation to Habitat for Humanity.
